As Coronation Street fans prepare to wave goodbye to Peter Barlow actor Chris Gascoyne after 23 years on the soap - we take a closer look at his stylish Salford Quays home
For 23 years Chris Gascoyne has captured the hearts of the nation as Coronation Street ’s Peter Barlow, but the actor recently broke the hearts of fans everywhere when he revealed he was leaving the show to pursue other projects.
It isn’t all about work however either, as his break from Corrie also means he has more time to spend with his soap star wife, Emmerdale actress Caroline Harding at their chic home in Salford. In addition, a bookcase could be seen in the rear of the shot adorned with framed photographs and various ornaments, while a clothes airer added a touch of down to earth normality to the otherwise swanky pad.
One standout addition was a gorgeous radiator cover, and of course plenty of plants to bring some of the outdoors in - a vital necessity during lockdown!
