Corrie's Chris Gascoyne is set to wave goodbye to the cobbles and hello to the stage for his upcoming Christmas panto role, which is expected to see him take home a hefty wage
Coronation Street legend Chris Gascoyne, who plays the iconic Peter Barlow in the soap, is expected to earn big bucks in his new panto role away from the show.
His latest role was announced by the Alban Arena in Saint Albans in July and it's been speculated that the star could 'earn £130,000' for starring in the pantomime. It was also claimed that Corrie's Ryan Thomas likely received a six-figure pay cheque for a previous starring role as Captain Hook. They added: "This promises to be our most spectacular pantomime yet with stunning sets, dazzling costumes, and a star-studded cast, this is a must-see show for the whole family.
