Jennie McAlpine has revealed the name of her new baby girl has close connections both to her family and Corrie
A star of ITV’s Coronation Street has revealed her baby joy and announced the name of her third child. Jennie McAlpine, 38, plays Fiz Stape on the soap and told OK! Magazine that the name has a real connection to the popular show -and also to her family.
Jennie settled on the name Doris for her little bundle of joy, after already being parents to Albert, eight, and four-year-old Hilda. The couple decided they didn’t want to know Doris’ gender until she was born and so drew up a shortlist of both boys’ and girls’ names. Their son Albert took the task very seriously, as Jennie confessed it was a “big conversation” in their house.
