Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine has addressed her future of the ITV soap after confirming the arrival of her third child. The actress was last seen on screen in Corrie, where she plays Fiz Dobbs, back in May.
While the little one's arrival came earlier than expected, Jennie held off publicly announcing the birth – just as she did with her pregnancy which she didn’t reveal until six months – preferring to stay in her newborn bubble with her husband Chris Farr for five months before introducing her to the big wide world.
As mentioned, before her beloved character Fiz, who has been on the cobbles since 2001, has already been written out by way of a lucrative job in Norwich, Jennie did film some pre-records that will be slotted in as FaceTimes and Zooms with the Dobbs family over the next few months while she enjoys her maternity leave.
