Two shop units will be used by West Nottinghamshire College

A college will take over two vacant units in a Nottinghamshire shopping centre as it waits for its new £20 million home to be completed. .

The retail units are currently vacant and have been for some time. One is occasionally used as a community hub and the other is used for sporadic weekend table tennis, according to planning documents.The arrangement to use the shops will be needed for two years, with the lease allowing for teaching and learning to continue after the move out of the department's current building. The college has said its use of the units will bring increased footfall to the shopping centre.
