Brendan Rodgers wants more experience and the Parkhead boss has a week to sign some before the transfer window shuts.
There may be a different playing style under Brendan Rodgers, but the new Celtic boss is certainly having a contrasting transfer window to his predecessor.
Yang Hyeon-jun has shown nice touches in flashes after coming off the bench. Compatriot Kwon Hyeok-kyu might find himself on the fringes for a while after a quiet start to life at Parkhead, while Marco Tilio is yet to be seen due to injury. Odin Holm has been in and out and remains one for the future.
One solution may be Luis Palma. The Aris winger is reportedly the subject of a £3.5million bid from the Premiership champion. The Greek Superleague side play lamia this weekend but Palma is unlikely to be included in the squad after sitting out training this week. Apparently, it's as much down to Roberts' sharp new trim as anything else. Mowbray said: "Definitely. 100 per cent. He’s just had a nice new haircut. He’s as happy as a sandboy."
