A senior police officer said it was 'vital' to their investigation that the man is traced following the 'despicable incident'.

CCTV of a man police want to talk to has been released after a teen was sexually assaulted during a "despicable incident" on a bus.

The teen reported she was sexually assaulted between getting on the bus at Queen Square, before disembarking at the city's Eaton Road. After examining CCTV and speaking to witnesses, police have identified a man they urgently want to trace in relation to the assault. "The victim was left shocked and understandably upset by this despicable incident and did the right thing in contacting us. If you recognise the man pictured then please let us know, as we believe he may hold information vital to our ongoing investigation.
