BREAKING: Full GMP statement as police descend on estate after shooting with one in hospital
Officers have swooped on a quiet estate in Greater Manchester after a shooting. Emergency services have cordoned off part of Overdale, in Swinton.that armed police have blocked off a section of the road, with people unable to pass.
In a statement, GMP said: "At approximately 6pm this evening , officers responded to reports of a firearms discharge in Overdale, Swinton.
