If you have any classic Royal Mail stamps left then you need to use them before they become worthless this month
People are being urged to use their classic Royal Mail stamps before they become worthless next month. They are being replaced by barcoded stamps which enable recipients to watch videos when they scan the barcode with the Royal Mail app.
. If you find you have a lot of older stamps left over that you won't be able to use in time, the company is offering you the chance to swap them through a new scheme.Old stamps can be used until July 31, 2023, following a six-month 'grace period'. The FAQs section on the Royal Mail website, states:"Mail posted with non-barcoded Definitive stamps after January 31, 2023, will for the first six months be delivered as normal, no surcharge will be raised.
If you’re downloading the form online and you don't have access to a printer, you can instead complete a web form and request for it to be posted to you. Once you’ve filled it out, post back the stamps you want to swap using the Freepost address.
