Many Aldi customers are being urged to return the items for a full refund
Aldi has pulled a number of meat products from its fridges, with some customers being warned "do not eat".
The supermarket giant has warned shoppers that two of its cured meat items have been recalled as a precaution. This is because the packs may contain milk and this is not stated on the packaging. When a product is recalled, for any reason, the Food Safety Agency shares details on what you should do if you have bought the item, as well as detailed information on why the product is being pulled from sale.Part of the FSA alert reads: "Aldi is recalling The Deli Salami Selection and The Deli Continental Selection because they may contain milk, which is not mentioned on the label.
"If you have bought the above products and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, do not eat them. Instead return them to the store from where they were purchased for a full refund. For more information please visit help.aldi.co.uk or ... [call] 0800 042 0800." The Deli Salami Selection contains slices of spicy chorizo, peppered salami, and salchichon, while the Continental Selection includes serrano ham, Milano salami, and mild chorizo. The Deli Continental Selection Receive newsletters with the latest news, sport and what's on updates from the Liverpool ECHO by signing up here
