A video shows crew members posing for photos on the wing of the plane
The crew of a Swiss International Air Lines flight were recently seen jumping and dancing on the wing of a Boeing 777 after a horrified passenger caught them on video. Employee behaviour on the clip has been described as "life-threatening" and the original video, posted to Instagram by SpottersBrazil, has since been taken down.
During the video, one woman exits from the emergency door, twirls and poses for photos. A male is then spotted joining her for photos, striking several poses. The behaviour breaks all kinds of regulations, with stepping on the wings only allowed during an emergency. Not to mention the potentially deadly 16-foot fall they would experience if they slipped and fell off.
"Moreover, after landing, even in high temperatures, the wings may be covered with ice. A fall from this height onto the hard surface can be devastating."
