The Food Standards Agency has issued an alert for several hot chocolate products.
Shoppers have been warned to avoid certain AERO hot chocolate products which they may have bought recently, as they could contain traces of silica beads.
These include the AERO Hot Choc Jars, AERO 'Hot Choc' sachets and AERO Go Instant 'Hot Choc' - all of which are unsafe due to the possibility of food-grade silica beads being found in them. In the recall notice, Nestlé said: "Nestlé UK is recalling the above products from customers. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tells them what to do if they have bought the products."
