'People responded really well to the event last year and some local traders asked if I’d do it again this year'
Owners of a bar have decided to host a Christmas event following requests from traders for its return due to last year’s successful turnout.
Moira and William Staines from White Orchid Boutique Bar in Accrington are inviting the public to their Christmas Sip and Shop event on December 8 7pm-9pm. More than 70 people turned up to last year’s event. Moira said: “People responded really well to the event last year and some local traders asked if I’d do it again this year. It got people in the Christmas mood and it was a nice and relaxed atmosphere.”There will be 10 gift stalls to browse at the Blackburn Road based bar.
The bar will have special offers on cocktails and Prosecco. The evening event falls on the Save The Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.
