999 crews raced to the scene of a fire near Glasgow yesterday.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said:"We were alerted at 3.59pm on Thursday, August 31 to reports of a fire affecting a second-floor flat on Ferguslie Walk, Paisley. "Operations Control mobilised four appliances, including a height vehicle, to the scene to extinguish the fire and make the area safe.
