The teenager's second inquest concluded he was unlawfully killed

Police will consider their next steps after a coroner ruled the actions of Yousef Makki's killer amounted to manslaughter. His family finally heard the words they had battled for as coroner Geraint Williams ruled their loved one had been 'unlawfully killed' at Stockport Coroners' Court today .

READ MORE: Coroner rules Yousef Makki was unlawfully killed - what does this mean and what could happen next? But Mr Williams felt the evidence painted a picture of Molnar becoming 'increasingly' angry in the moments before the fatal stabbing. It followed Molnar being attacked by two 'heavies' and having his bike taken, after Chowdhary called a drug dealer to buy more cannabis.

"As they walked on Gorse Bank Road, Mr Molnar’s anger continued to grow and he became irritated when Mr Makki tried to persuade him to stay. Mr Makki’s persuasion, which although not involving any violence or threats did include calling Mr Molnar ‘a p*ssy’ which led to further irritation on Mr Molnar’s part."

Mr Williams added: "I pay due regard to his age, his good character at the time and the trauma of the stabbing of his friend. But in light of his dishonesty at the scene, his deliberate hiding of both of the knives in his possession, my finding that Mr Makki did not threaten or attack him with a knife - or at all - and his subsequent changes to the account of the alleged ‘confrontation’ between them, I find that Mr Molnar did not honestly believe that he need to use force against Mr Makki.
