The latest international break is an opportunity to take stock on how the campaign is panning out for Leeds United so far
It may only seem like it's been five minutes since the last international break, but here we are again. When the Championship went into a temporary hibernation last month, Leeds United have just been held to a frustrating goalless draw at home to Sheffield Wednesday to leave Daniel Farke's men 15th in the embryonic table, following what was a breathless first month of the campaign.
That was largely down to a hectic transfer window that had even more twists and turns than usual, following Leeds' relegation earlier that summer. A host of players left the club, several taking advantage of loan clauses in their deals following relegation and Farke barely had time to get his feet under the table before his new team got underway.
It's fair to say that the ship has steadied over the past month. The Championship table now sees Leeds sitting in fifth place, with only one defeat in the six games since the September break, with four wins and four clean sheets as it all starts to click for Farke and company.The current break is a natural time to take stock in how the season is looking.
