Two beloved stars play a married couple, thrown into an extra-terrestrial situation
? Mescal plays Junior, Ronan plays his wife Henrietta. They live a rural existence, on a farm in America around 40 years in the future. That’s when a stranger, Terrance arrives and informs Junior that he’s been chosen to participate in a space programme that is set to ease the transition from a soon-to-be-done-for Earth. And while Junior prepares for that journey, Henrietta is not going to be alone.
Expect some tense scenes of a marriage, wide-open landscapes, and longing stares.: the intriguing source material, Davis’s impressive track record, an October release date. But perhaps the biggest thrill will be seeing Ronan and Mescal face off in a taut relationship-space-drama. The just-released trailer shows the actors doing what they do best: looking gorgeous, lightly sweaty and very serious.
