A teacher has opened a new wellness space to allow the public to socialise and enjoy the mental and physical benefits of yoga.
“There is a misconception that yoga is just for skinny people in crop tops but it’s for everyone. People of all ages come to the studio, even up to the age of 96.“The majority of people who come to the studio come for their mental health and we have a lot of men of different ages enjoying classes with our male teacher too. In the modern world we hardly have space for quiet time but yoga gives you that time and makes you feel refreshed and energised.
Tessa, who is originally from Rishton, wanted to bring this back home and to create diverse and creative inclusive sessions. She continued: “Great Harwood is an exciting place to be with all the new businesses opening and people are really supportive.
