A new chapter begins for St Giles Community Centre as YMCA Lincolnshire's vision is approved 🌟
YMCA Lincolnshire is thrilled to announce that its plans for the redevelopment of the St Giles Community Centre have been formally approved by the City of Lincoln Council.
The St Giles Community Centre, with its immense potential to serve the local community in a positive and meaningful way, caught the attention of YMCA Lincolnshire in the latter half of 2022. Caroline Killeavy, CEO of YMCA Lincolnshire, said:"YMCA Lincolnshire is delighted that this process has progressed to the next stage, which is a major step in enabling this 154-year-old charity to bring essential youth and community services to an area of Lincoln which will greatly benefit from our support."
The City of Lincoln Council has facilitated the Community Asset Transfer, granting YMCA Lincolnshire the responsibility of managing the Community Centre.
