A new Wuthering Waves leak seems to indicate that the game will jump from patch 1.4 to 2.0, skipping patch 1.5 and more.
Wuthering Waves is currently near the end of version 1.1, and people are always looking ahead to what’s next in live-service gacha games. While we’ve seen leaks pointing towards the upcoming 1.3 banner characters, a new leak seems to suggest that WuWa will skip patches 1.5 onwards and make the huge leap to version 2.0. A post titled ‘Version 2.0 will be after version 1.4 ’ was shared in r/WutheringWavesLeaks, and people aren’t sure whether or not they believe it.
It would be significant for Wuthering Waves to go from patch 1.4 to 2.0, but it also isn’t outside the realm of possibility. 2.0 would be a great way for Kuro Games to add new content they want and these sorts of big updates typically come around after the game has been out for a year. When you consider how the game has only been out since May 23, it seems highly unlikely for the game to reach 2.0 when there is, arguably, much more to explore in Huanglong. Herein lies the problem with leaks.
