World news: One dead and 30 injured after passenger train derails in the Netherlands
One person has died and around 30 passengers are injured - many of them seriously - after a train partially derailed in the Netherlands, according to reports emerging on Tuesday morning.
The exact cause of the accident that happened around 3.25 am in the town of Voorschoten, near The Hague, is not immediately clear, reports said. The front carriage of the train came off the tracks and ended up in a field after the incident, according to the Netherlands National News Agency .
