National Highways has issued an alert to motorists
The cross-Pennine Woodhead Pass route between Manchester and Yorkshire has been closed after 'a collision involving multiple vehicles', National Highways has said.
Derbyshire Police are said to be on the scene, but no further details have been revealed as yet. It's not known how many vehicles are involved.In a statement, National Highways said: "The A628 Woodhead Pass in Greater Manchester/Derbyshire is closed in both directions between the A57 and the A6024 due to a collision involving multiple vehicles.
