Olivia Malone tipped the scales at 17stone 7lb in 2020 before learning about nutrition and ditching calorific takeaways
A woman who shed a whopping eight stone after ditching her diet of turkey dinosaurs and takeaways has shared her secret for success. Olivia Malone was shocked to discover she weighed 17 stone 7lb and blamed her student lifestyle for her unhealthy eating habits.
Olivia, from Salford, admits she would pick up meal deals for her lunchtime - with sandwiches, bags of crisps and fizzy drinks - then would get tempted into takeaways with her pals at night. She also learnt to create 'fakeaways' - healthy versions of those high calorie takeaways she used to love at university. Now she creates her own style of chicken burger with blended chicken breast, or salt and pepper chips in the airfryer.
She now works in an office, but has also incorporated more movement into her daily life too. "Every single lunchtime on my work break I go on a 30 minute walk. In the past, I would have sat there scrolling on social media, don't get me wrong some days I still do that, but most days I now go out for a walk instead."
