Police have launched an appeal after a woman alleged she was subjected to racial abuse.
The police have launched an appeal following an alleged racist incident outside Daisy’s in the Park café in Cassiobury Park, Watford.It happened during a row outside Daisy’s in the Park café in Cassiobury Park.
The victim, who was with another person, told officers that the argument started after she became concerned about a dog being off the lead and approaching them. She claimed she was told to"go back to where you came from", a police spokesperson confirmed. No description of the suspect was provided.The row at 9.15am on Thursday, July 20, saw Herts Police look into it before appealing for witnesses on Wednesday, August 30.
“The appeal has been released at this time due to other lines of enquiry being explored, but these proved negative unfortunately,” a force spokesperson said. Information can be reported via non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference number 41/58429/23.
