BREAKING: A woman has been found dead on a popular beach by a member of the public. Emergency services were called after the woman was spotted by a passer-by this afternoon.

A woman has been found dead on a popular beach by a member of the public.

Emergency services were called to Pevensey Bay Beach in East Sussex after the woman was spotted by a passer-by this afternoon.A Sussex Police spokesman said: ‘Police were called to Pevensey Beach this afternoon after the body of a woman was discovered by a member of the public.‘Enquiries are ongoing to identify her and establish the full circumstances of the situation.’

The beach is popular among tourists for its links to William the Conqueror’s landing in the Battle of Hastings in 1066 It’s popular with tourists for being the spot where William the Conqueror landed in 1066 before the Battle of Hastings.found that she drowned after accidentally falling into a river.
