Emergency crews scrambled to the scene at Arbroath Road on Monday, September 4.
Officers were alerted to the incident on Arbroath Road in the city at around 3:55pm on Monday, September 4.
A woman was rushed to Ninewells Hospital but no more information is available on her condition at this stage. An image provided by Rebreak News shows a red car smashed into a lamppost in the middle of the road, with considerable damage to the front end of the vehicle. A second image shows the side of the car, with the airbag inflated, and debris littered across the road.
