A WOMAN was allegedly murdered AFTER cops were called over a "linked matter" - prompting the force to refer itself to the police watchdog.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested after the unidentified woman was found with fatal injuries in Baildon, West Yorkshire, on Sunday morning.West Yorkshire Police has alerted the Independent Office for Police Conduct over the handling of the incident after it emerged officers had been called over an earlier incident involving the woman.
An ambulance was called to Aire Way around 9:46am over concerns for a woman's safety where she was found injured.The woman's family has been offered support.
