The 59-year-old was struck by the vehicle on Hope Street at its junction with Sauchiehall Street around 2.30pm on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and she was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. Her injuries have been described as serious.Police locked down the busy street while they carried out investigations into the incident.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.30pm on Thursday, November 10, police were called to a report of a woman struck by a bus on Hope Street at the junction with Sauchiehall Street.
