Lauren Bridges was just 20 when she died at The Priory Cheadle Royal
An aspiring doctor who died from hanging attempted to take her own life in the same manner just a month before she passed away in hospital, an inquest has heard.
Katie Gollop, an advocate for the Dorset University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, said to Mr Walsh that there were two incidents at the Priory where Lauren was found with a ligature around her neck, on January 24 and 25, 2022, which he acknowledged. Mr Walsh then pointed out that the doors had been replaced in Lauren’s building within six weeks of her passing. Coroner Andrew Bridgman interjected: “Was replacing all the doors in six weeks part of the rolling programme or was it part of a response?”
