The animal, described as a white pit-bull type, apparently attacked another dog first
Following the attack at around 7.30am, Hertfordshire Constabulary said the owner is described as being a white woman in her 40s.

Three Rivers Police recently put down a dog it believed to be predominately a pit bull as they are unable to rehome prohibited breeds.
