A WOMAN today/yesterday insisted she would have 'battered' anyone she witnessed harming a youngster.
Elaine Lannery also told jurors claims she was part of a child sex and abuse ring were"ridiculous".The seven men and four women deny a series of charges alleged to have occurred in the city between January 2010 and October 2020.
Lannery was on Thursday questioned by her KC Ronnie Renucci as defence evidence continued at the trial.Lannery said:"I was shellshocked. I could not believe it."Unemployed Lannery was probed further about claims any of the youngsters were shut in kitchen appliances.
