A woman was pronounced dead at the scene of a Paisley flat block after it went up in flames last night.
The 38-year-old woman passed away during the incident despite paramedics' best efforts to save her life. Officers and fire crews are currently still on the scene as enquiries into the incident are ongoing.Horrific images from the scene shows the flames engulfing the flat block and fire crews attempting to calm the blaze.
Six fire engines were mobilised along with two rescue platforms after reports of the first floor fire were received last night.
