A three-way crash saw the deaths of a woman and two children, including a six-year-old boy.
A silver Vauxhall Meriva, a blue Toyota Aygo and a double-decker bus collided on the A61 in North Yorkshire. Police and paramedics were called to the road in the Ripon area, between South Stainley and Ripley, after 2.20pm yesterday. The Vauxhall and Toyota were travelling south, towards Ripley, and the bus was going in the opposite direction.
All three people in the Vauxhall were killed following the crash – a woman in her 30s, a teenage girl and a six-year-old boy.The bus driver was taken to hospital with leg injuries, and some of its passengers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
