A man has been arrested after a six-vehicle crash involving lorries left a woman with potentially life-changing injuries.Emergency services, including reportedly three air ambulances, rushed to the stretch approaching the M25 at 10.10am.
Maria Esquerre, who was driving nearby but did not see the “gruesome” accident, said a car had been crumpled between the two lorries and left three people trapped inside. At the time, Herts Fire and Rescue Service confirmed"firefighters are working to release several injured people from vehicles".
