Football Insider understands that Wolves centre-back Dion Sanderson is undergoing a medical at Birmingham City ahead of a £2million move.

Wolves centre-backThe Premier League club have agreed to sell the 23-year-old defender after agreeing a £2million fee with their Midlands rivals.

Sanderson has only made one senior appearance during his four years at Wolves, with the remainder of his time at the club spent out on loan.Sanderson spent the 2022/23 campaign on loan at St Andrew’s, playing 3,000 minutes across all competitions as he helped Birmingham to a 17th-placed finish in the league table.

Sanderson evidently impressed manager John Eustace during his temporary stint, and the Blues boss has pushed to make him a permanent addition this summer.
