Here’s everything we know so far about the hotly anticipated drama about the Harvey Weinstein scandal starring Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan.
Published in 2019, Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey’stells the tale of the pair’s investigation into Harvey Weinstein for, which resulted in them exposing the prolific producer’s extensive history of abuse and sexual misconduct in 2017. This big-screen adaptation tracks the reporters as they begin to understand the scale of Weinstein’s crimes, interviewing survivors and persuading them to go public with their allegations.
It’s clear that the two-time Academy Award nominee won’t quit until the patriarchy is overthrown – following on from her take on a vengeful medical school dropout who is still haunted by the assault and death of her best friend in ’s awards-laden directorial debut, she’ll be taking on the part of Twohey. Meanwhile, Zoe Kazan, best known for her moving performances in, will play Kantor.
