, you may well have come across an advertisement for online shopping portal Temu, which promises rock-bottom prices and huge discounts for new users.– are too good to be true.Pinduoduo – sells everything from kitchen gadgets, consumer electronics and furniture to makeup, baby clothes and power tools.The Chinese e-commerce platform is somewhat like, in that it offers a rapidly changing lineup of very cheap items, with new designs appearing according to demand from shoppers.
It means that anything you may see for sale on the app may not be available tomorrow, or may appear in a different colour or design. Much like Shein, AliExpress and Wish, it relies on China’s very low factory costs. It also has access to Pinduoduo’s huge network of factories and supply lines, meaning it can sell its products only slightly higher than wholesale prices.
