The Met Office has issued thunderstorm and rain warnings in the UK

has been issued for much of east and south-east England between 12 noon and 8pm, including Norfolk, Suffolk, Kent, London, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Essex, Middlesex and East and West Sussex. Heavy showers and thunderstorms may causing flooding and disruption in these places, the Met Office has warned.could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures, and there is a small chance that some communities become cut off by flooded roads.Where flooding and lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to bus and train services.
