It could be sooner than you think👀
Christmas is officially 62 days away which only means one thing - it's almost time for the John Lewis Christmas advert.
Last year, we saw a two minute advert titled 'Unexpected Guest' which followed the story of Nathan, a 14-year-old boy who encountered a space traveller named Skye and her ship from another galaxy. Many of us are already speculating what this year's advert will be, which is bound to tug at the heartstrings.
As Skye left, she disappeared into the night sky and left a twinkling star on a Christmas tree in the distance. The song chosen for the advert was 'Together In Electric Dreams' by Lola Young, a stripped version of the classic by Phillip Oakley & Giorgio Moroder. The 2020 advert was released at 7am on November 13 and the 2021 advert was released on November 4 - the same day as Pride of Britain, which is actually this Thursday, October 27.
