More than 100 schools and colleges in England have been told to fully or partially close buildings due to the presence RAAC concrete

holiday: Thursday 28 March, 2024 to Thursday 4 April, 2024End of term: Friday 28 June, 2024156 schools in England contain dangerous RAAC concrete. Of those, 104 require urgent action and 56 have already undergone repair work.in the first week of the new school year. The DfE was told of the issues potentially caused by RAAC in 2018.
