'What have Harry and Meghan done to deserve humanitarian award', queries royal expert
A royal expert has questioned what Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have done to deserve a prestigious human rights award they will be honoured with next month.
Those who have previously won the award include actor George Clooney, former US presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, Bill’s politician wife Hilary Clinton and current US president Joe Biden. “Meghan especially is giving the impression they will stop at nothing to get to the top." Angelna then warned: "She should be careful as it could all crumple.”
The press release also revealed it chose the Sussexes for their work “advancing the global dialogue around mental health”, supporting Afghan refugees in the US, investing in Ukraine aid organisations, championing vaccine access and partnering with the NAACP on a “Digital Civil Rights Award”.
