A West Lothian carer is set to be struck off after being found guilty of embezzling over £34,000 from a service user.
The charge she faced at the court was between February 1, 2019 and September 30, 2020 she embezzled £34,893 from a service user. The precise figure was unclear, as AA had been in the habit of transferring money to her to attend to business payments, The SSSC report said: “You estimated that the actual embezzlement might be around half the figure you had been convicted of; however, there had been no way of proving that the whole sums in your account had not been embezzled.”.
