One of New York’s most raucous parades has led to a viral video showing New York’s finest dirty dancing in the streets
“Stop and Frisky” read the New York Post headline. Forget force, the Village Voice called it “Excessive Use of Dance.”“I think it's reprehensible,” said one viewer after watching the video.“They're too busy humping girls,” said a third woman.“They are human,” said one man, “If I was at a parade and I was having fun and I had a cop having fun I'd be happy about it.”“Yea he's having too much fun working,” said another viewer.But New York’s Police Commissioner wasn’t firing anyone.
Commissioner Ray Kelly told WOR radio that the young women appraocehd the police officers and he noted that “it’s quite an unusual parade.”Even the Commissioner has gotten caught up in the spirit of it.But New York cops aren't the only ones to get lured into dancing to the beat while they're on their beat.Instead of getting heat, he got a Facebook fan page dedicated to the dancing policeman.
