Ryan and Rob, both 46, purchased Wrexham AFC over two years ago, and since the takeover, the team has gone from strength-to-strength which has all been documented on the programme.
In the first season, we saw Hollywood royalty settle into life at the helm of the Welsh club. While initially a little out of sorts, they quickly learned the rules and regulations and got to work guiding the team to some victories.Although initially, some people worried the actors’ involvement was a publicity stunt, they have been widely praised for their investment and involvement in the club, raising the profile of the city and promoting the Welsh language and culture.
The series will likely focus on Wrexham’s epic season-long title tussle with Notts County, as well as their rise to the top.
