It's forecast to be a wet and miserable day throughout Yorkshire with snow is predicted to batter down on parts of the county.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning from 4pm on Wednesday, March 15, until 4am on Thursday, March 16. The snow warning covers the area between Hawes, Leyburn, Pateley Bridge and Settle. For most of Yorkshire however, The Met Office said: "A sunny but very cold and frosty start. Clouding over from the west through the day, with a band of rain, sleet and snow moving in through the evening. Maximum temperature 7 °C."In Leeds, we can expect sunny skies from 7am until 8am. Then cloudy skies until 2pm.
Followed by overcast skies until 5pm. Then heavy rain until 9pm, dissipating into a light rain by 10pm throughout the night. Temperatures will peak at 7C and dip to 4C.
