We prepared for the coronation by turning ourselves into walking Union Flags and have never felt so British
You're probably aware of a little known celebration happening in Britain this weekend. It's quite hard to ignore.
Some weird and wonderful merchandise has been made for the event, with the Mirror reporting on their most unusual finds. Included in this is Hellmann's Coronation mayonnaise and the M&S Coronation Colin the Caterpillar. Heading to these smaller businesses, we struck gold. Grabbing two flags, face paint and a bowler hat each, we knew we'd look the part straight away. All that was left to do was to visit some of Blackpool's tourists hotspots. Having done our Blackpool Tower shots, we headed over to the town centre and walked in front of Winter Gardens, adjacent the shopping centre, Houndshill. Enjoying ourselves, I don't think either of us have felt more British than in that very moment.
