Watford head coach Valerien Ismael emphasizes the need for more shots and better crosses in order to improve the team's performance. Despite recent wins, the team's average goal attempts have decreased, and Ismael wants his players to add end product to their attacks. He also highlights the importance of improving the quality of crosses. The team has focused on defensive solidity in recent weeks and now aims to build confidence in other areas of their game.

More shots and better crosses are both high on the list of priorities says Watford head coach Valerien Ismael .

“For three or four weeks the feeling was there that we conceded too many goals. So we had to deal with that, stay compact and get confidence back by stopping conceding goals. “Yes but we have our full backs, and if you see we put our full backs in good positions to cross,” said Ismael. “If you look at the goal we scored at Swansea, the four players involved were the four players that we put on the pitch as substitutes.
