James Gunn has succinctly confirmed that there are plans for the DC universe to include games in the future.

"Yes, most definitely, the DCU will be connected across film and TV ," Gunn replied to one question. Another fan asked if there were plans for games to be connected to the DCU, and Gunn responded with a short"yes." While this answer doesn't give us much to go on so far, it does at least leave no room for misunderstanding about the role of future games in the DCU.
, but as Eurogamer points out, this game will most likely be connected to the Batman: Arkham universe rather than the wider DC universe Gunn is referring to here.
