Apparently this coming Monday is one of the most depressing days of the year... 🏃

A Preston personal training gym is promising a free endorphin hit this Monday as it opens up group training and yoga sessions to help people beat Blue Monday. The third Monday of January was first coined ‘Blue Monday’ by Dr. Cliff Arnall in 2005 thanks to a combination of the dreary January weather, the long stretch to pay day, and the time in which many people give up on their New Year’s Resolutions. It’s been known as the most depressing day of the year ever since.

“The dreary weather and festive financial hangover don’t help things either. We wanted to do something to give people a boost this January by showing it’s not just the physical benefits of exercise that people should be focusing on, there are far reaching mental health benefits too. “We can guarantee that the workout the team have created will leave people feeling great – thanks to all of those feel-good hormones that will be released.
