A walker fell into freezing water at a popular Scots tourist attraction and was saved by Mountain Rescue volunteers

Around a dozen volunteers from Lomond Mountain Rescue Team rushed to the scene after being alerted by police just after 4pm. Lomond Mountain Rescue Service said: "At 16:03, Police Scotland advised that a casualty had fallen into the river at the Devil's Pulpit."After initial assessment on scene, they were transferred to Ambulance for further treatment. The stand down was issued at 17:28."
